भारत में सबसे लोकप्रिय Water Purifiers में RO को प्रमुख रूप से दिनदोष पानी को शुद्ध करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। इसलिए RO Water Purifier को लोग अपने घरों में दफतरों में इस System का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

यूवी (UV):

UV में पूर्ण रूप है – “Ultra Violet” यह पानी को शुद्ध करने के लिए एक एसी तकनीक है, जिसमें पानी में मौजूद बैक्टीरिया और वायरस मारे जाते हैं। यह तकनीक नॉर्मल टैप वॉटर प्रेशर में काम कर सकती है।

Ultraviolet। Ultraviolet पानी से घातक Bacteria को हटाता है। यह UV Radiators का उपयोग करता है और सूक्ष्मजीवों और दूषित पदार्थों को समाप्त करता है। यूवी जल शोधक UV Radiation Tube से सामान्य पानी से गुजरता है और पानी को शुद्ध करता है।

TDS स्तर की जाँच करने के बाद ही UV Water Purifier का इस्तेमाल करने की सिफारिश की जाती है।

यूएफ (UF):

UF का एक पूर्ण रूप है – “Ultra Filtration” यह वाटर प्यूरीफायर की एसी तकनीक है, जिसमें एक झिल्ली या परत को जोड़कर पानी की अशुद्धियों को साफ किया जाता है। यह एक शोधक है जिसे बिजली की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है और यह पानी में मौजूद वायरस को नहीं मारता है और उन्हें पानी में मार देता है।

इसका मतलब होता है Ultra Filtration, इस Water Purifier को सामान्य पानी से Suspended Solids, Large Molecular, Weight Materials और अन्य छितरी हुई सामग्री को हटाने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।

टीडीएस (TDS):

TDS का फुल फॉर्म है – “Total Dissolved Solids” जिसका हिंदी में अर्थ है- पूरी तरह से घुलने वाला ठंडा पदार्थ, ये सॉलिड पानी में डिसॉल्व्ड आयन के रूप में हो सकते हैं।

इनमें कैल्शियम, पोटेशियम, सोडियम आदि जैसी अशुद्धियाँ होती हैं, पानी की शुद्धता को मापने के लिए टीडीएस तकनीक का उपयोग किया जाता है। टीडीएस पानी में मौजूद रासायनिक अशुद्धियों की उपस्थिति या अनुपस्थिति को इंगित करता है।
