How to Redeem BGMI Codes (Step-by-Step Guide)
Redeeming BGMI codes is straightforward, but you must use the official website rather than in-game settings. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Copy Your In-Game Character ID
Open Battlegrounds Mobile India on your smartphone. Tap your Profile Avatar in the top-left corner. Your Character ID (a 10–12 digit number, e.g., 5123456789) is displayed directly beneath your IGN. Tap the Copy icon next to it.
Step 2: Open the Official Redemption Center
Launch your web browser and navigate directly to the official portal:
👉 battlegroundsmobileindia.com/redeem
Step 3: Fill Out the Redemption Form
On the web page, fill in the three required fields:
- Character ID: Paste your numeric in-game ID.
- Redemption Code: Paste any of the active 16-character codes from the list above.
- Verification Code: Enter the 4-digit numeric CAPTCHA displayed in the image.
Step 4: Click Redeem & Confirm
Tap the yellow Redeem button. A dialog box will pop up displaying your in-game Character Name and Account ID. Confirm that the nickname matches your account, then click OK.
Step 5: Claim Reward from In-Game Mail
Open BGMI on your phone, head to the home lobby, and tap the Mail icon on the bottom right. Open the system message titled "Redemption Rewards" and tap Collect All to claim your Cobalt Storm Backpack!
Official BGMI Redemption Rules You Must Know
To prevent abuse and bot exploitation, KRAFTON India strictly enforces the following terms for all code campaigns:
- 10-User Cap Per Code: Every promo voucher is limited to the first 10 players who successfully submit it. Once 10 claims are recorded on the server, the code becomes invalid.
- Daily Account Limit: You can redeem only one code per account per calendar day. If you have already claimed a reward today, save remaining codes for tomorrow.
- No Guest Accounts: Players using unlinked Guest accounts are ineligible for web redemptions. You must bind your BGMI profile to Google Play Games, Facebook, Twitter (X), or Apple ID before redeeming.
- 30-Day Mailbox Expiry: Once credited to your in-game mailbox, rewards must be collected within 30 days. Unclaimed mail is permanently deleted by the system.
- No Resale or Transfer: Redeemed rewards are bound permanently to the specific Character ID and cannot be gifted or traded to other accounts.
BGMI "World of Wonder" (WOW) Mode Update
Alongside the code drop, KRAFTON India revealed impressive milestones for BGMI's popular World of Wonder (WOW) community mode:
- 50,000+ Custom Creator Maps: Over 50,000 community-developed mini-games, deathmatches, and parkour stages have been published.
- 23 Million+ Unique Explorers: More than 23 million players have actively engaged in WOW game modes.
- 1 Million+ Daily Active Visitors: The sandbox mode continues to draw over a million daily players seeking fresh gameplay beyond standard battle royale matches.
Warning: Beware of Fake BGMI Code Generators
Because BGMI cosmetic items and UC are in high demand, malicious websites frequently prey on players by promising "Unlimited Free UC Generators" or "Free Glacier M416 Redeem Codes".
- Never enter your account password: The official BGMI Redemption Center only asks for your public Character ID. It will never ask for your login passwords, OTPs, or linked social media credentials.
- Avoid third-party APK hacks: Using unofficial redemption apps or modified APKs violates KRAFTON's Fair Play Policy and can lead to permanent 10-year device and account bans.
- Only use official domains: Always ensure the URL in your browser bar is
battlegroundsmobileindia.com.
